FII India hosted the largest ever delegation of industry representatives to the Delhiwood trade event in February 2015. 26 industry participants joined the FII team at the premier wood trade show in New Delhi and several new commercial relationships were established with Indian buyers. An extended mission included tours of manufacturing facilities and networking events with buyers, architects and key influencers to spread the word about B.C. wood products. The show and mission program generated significant media buzz in India continuing to build the profile of B.C. coniferous species in the market. FII India partnered with the Canadian High Commission in New Delhi, Natural Resources Canada, and BC Wood Specialties Group, to create the Canada Pavilion at Delhiwood.
